Program Requirements

The Vacation on Destination rewards program officially begins December 1, 2006.
Anyone who signs up as a Destination Healthcare traveler is eligible and automatically enrolled in the Vacation on Destination rewards program. The first day of your first assignment is considered your start date. Your anniversary dates–increments of 12 months–are calculated from your start date.

Breakout schedule is based solely on qualified years and does not necessarily reflect a traveler's years with Destination Healthcare. For example, if a traveler qualifies his/her first year, does not qualify the next year, but qualifies the following year, the traveler will receive the 2nd year rewards as shown on the breakout schedule even though it is his/her 3rd year working with Destination Healthcare.

First year: A new traveler must work at least 220 days–6+ hours/day qualifies for a day–within his/her first 12 months with Destination Healthcare. On the anniversary date, if the traveler meets the requirements, he/she will be awarded one week's pay, based on a traveler's average hourly rate and $500 continuing education funds.

After year one: A traveler must work at least 220 days–6+ hours/day qualifies for a day–from previous anniversary date to the following anniversary date. If the traveler meets the requirements, he/she will be awarded paid vacation and continuing education funds according to the qualified year, as listed on the breakout schedule.

Vacation payout: The financial calculation is based on the traveler's average hourly rate only, and does not include housing, per diem or any other reimbursement tied to the assignment. Vacation pay increases the second and fourth qualified year as the traveler continues to work with Destination Healthcare, and caps at four years. See breakout schedule for details.

Qualified travelers receive vacation pay in the form of cash, delivered within two weeks of their anniversary date. Funds are subject to payroll withholding tax.

Continuing education: Funds increase the first five qualified years as the traveler continues to work with Destination Healthcare, and cap at five years. See breakout schedule for details.

Continuing education funds are awarded in the form of reimbursement for continuing education courses taken the 12 months during–and 12 months following–the qualified year. Class start dates must fall within this 24-month period to be eligible for reimbursement. Funds not used during the 24-month period do not accrue and are forfeited. The traveler must show valid payment receipt for the classes to be reimbursed.

Destination Healthcare Staffing reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Vacation on Destination rewards program or end the program at any time without notice.
